How quickly the seasons shift! As we welcome the warmth of summer and reflect on our recovery from the recent ice storm, I am excited to celebrate my 4 decade as a State Farm Agent. My journey began in 1994 in Escanaba, MI, after working as an adult educator for a major electric company in Southeast Wisconsin. In 1995, I moved to Petoskey, where I was fortunate to meet my amazing wife, Phyllis. For the past 25 years, she has thrived as a dedicated real estate agent in our lively community. Originally from Indian River, Phyllis has introduced me to the stunning beauty of Burt Lake, Crooked River, and the Indian River, especially during the vibrant summer months when the landscapes are alive with color.

Together, we are blessed with five children and nine grandchildren who fill our lives with joy, much like the blooming flowers and sunny days of summer. One of our favorite pastimes is exploring the inland waterway, where we enjoy boating and fishing on the scenic rivers and lakes that come alive in summer's embrace. As the temperatures rise, we love playing pickleball outdoors, often found at the bustling courts in Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, or Boyne City, and at North Central Michigan College when summer showers send us inside.
